ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Matthew — a portrait, couples, and brand photographer based in Dallas (by way of small-town Florida). I specialize in capturing creatives (musicians, actors, artists, etc) — anyone who lives a little bit louder and wants that energy remembered through honest, thoughtful images.
Photography isn’t just something I do — it’s how I connect with the world. It’s my way of seeing rightly. When there’s a camera in my hand and someone in front of my lens, that’s where I’m most present. Most myself.
I’ve been told I make people feel confident and comfortable during shoots — probably because I don’t believe anyone has to perform for the camera to be interesting. You don’t need to try and be valuable. You already are.
I direct when it helps, shoot candid when it matters, and edit to bring out the nostalgia, mood, and feelings that make a moment worth remembering. My work is not about chasing perfection — it's about preserving something real.
You’ll find me behind the lens at live shows, proposals, engagements, creative portraits, and church events (selectively… weddings and backyard birthdays are a no from me). I drink Guaraná (Google it) like it's a superpower and think most problems can be solved with the right music playlist.
